What makes a "Live Interactive" class different?
This is our most immersive format. Students join a real-time Zoom classroom with a specialist UKVS teacher and a small group of peers. It’s a social, high-energy environment where students can ask questions and get answers instantly.
How often do the live classes meet?
The frequency depends on the subject you choose. Some Academic subjects meet 3 times per week, others meet twice per week, and many of our Short Courses meet once per week. This variety allows you to choose a learning intensity that fits your child’s needs.
What is the "3-week on, 1-week off" rhythm?
For many of our courses, we live-stream for the first three weeks of the month, leaving the fourth week for independent study, projects, or family flexibility. This prevents "screen fatigue" and gives students time to digest what they’ve learned.
Does my child have to turn their camera on?
Yes. Per our Terms and Conditions, we require students to have their cameras on during live sessions to ensure safety, foster engagement, and allow teachers to provide the best support. We understand unique situations arise, so exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if your child has specific needs.
How large are the class sizes?
To ensure every student receives high-quality, individual attention, we keep our groups strictly small. We have a maximum of 10 students per class, allowing for a personalized learning experience and meaningful teacher-student interaction.
Will my child get direct feedback from the teacher?
Yes! One of the biggest benefits of the Live format is immediate feedback. Teachers can correct misunderstandings on the spot and provide verbal encouragement, which helps keep students motivated and on track.
Do we get a recording if we miss a live session?
Absolutely. Every live session is recorded and uploaded to your secure Student Portal within 24–48 hours. If a student misses a class, they can watch the replay to stay caught up with the rest of the group.
What technology do I need to join the live classes?
We use Zoom for all our live sessions. You will need a stable internet connection and a device (laptop or tablet) with a working microphone and camera. A secure, recurring link is provided in your Student Portal.
Are the live classrooms safe and moderated?
Yes, student safety is our priority. All sessions are password-protected, and our teachers are trained to moderate the classroom and chat, ensuring a positive, respectful, and focused environment for everyone.
How do I know the specific schedule for my child's classes?
Once you enrol, the exact days and times for your live sessions will be clearly listed in your Student Portal. We offer various slots to accommodate different time zones, particularly for our international and expat families.
