The practical bits
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Everything you need to know before stepping into your first class.
What makes a class “live interactive”?
Learners join a Zoom classroom happening live with a UKVS teacher and a small peer group. They can ask questions, respond, discuss and receive feedback as the lesson happens.
How large are the classes?
Interactive classes have a maximum of 10 learners, helping teachers give meaningful attention and keep everyone involved.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
Live sessions are recorded and normally added to the secure Student Portal within 24–48 hours, so learners can catch up.
Does my child need their camera on?
Yes. Cameras support safety, engagement and communication. UKVS can consider individual circumstances, so speak with the team about specific needs.
What technology do we need?
A stable internet connection and a laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone. Secure recurring Zoom links are provided in the Student Portal.
A school without walls
