Taster Week Form

This year we are looking to offer a taster week for any new families looking to join us in September 2026

We have limited capacity for students to do taster weeks with us. To minimise disruption for our

current students, we will only have a maximum of 1 taster student in each year group, each week.

Please note application to the taster week is on a first-come, first-serve basis

The taster week will include the following:

An induction session where students will learn how our portal works and be given a schedule for the week with information about their teachers

A week of taster classes*

● Primary taster* classes could include Maths, English, Science, Art, and Worldviews, Short courses

● Secondary taster* classes could include Maths, English, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Art, Worldviews, History, Geography, Computer Science, Latin, Short courses.

*We will propose a timetable to you based on the availability of subjects. We aim to provide a good variety in the timetable we present.

A feedback session where the students can let us know how they found the subjects and we jointly come up with a potential schedule for them for September. Students will have the opportunity to sit in class either as an observer or if they would like, they may participate as a regular student. They will have access to all the functionalities of a typical student in a lesson ie the ability to communicate in class, interact, and engage. Please note access to the taster week gives limited access to other elements of UKVS. For example, your child will not have access to homework, video recordings, and other enrolment benefits.

Start by completing our short registration form. Tell us about your child, their educational background, interests, and what you hope to find in an online school.

Step 2:

Personalised Timetabling

Every child is different. That's why we create a personalised timetable based on your child's age, interests, learning needs and subject choices, carefully matching them with the live lessons that suit them best.

Step 3:

Secure Your Spot

Once you're happy with your child's personalised timetable, you can secure their place by paying a one-off reservation fee of £199 (Primary) or £299 (Secondary).

Step 4:

Experience UKVS

Your child will join their live lessons, meet their teachers and classmates, and experience what makes UK Virtual School different through our small, interactive classes.
