UKVS has been a great experience for our daughter who cannot attend her mainstream setting. The staff are exceptional! The teachers are very friendly and accommodating to a child’s needs and made our daughter feel comfortable straight away. What exactly is a One-Way video lesson?

It is an asynchronous learning model. Instead of attending a live class at a set time, you access high-production, recorded lessons taught by expert UKVS Teachers. You have "Total Control" to pause, rewind, and re-watch as many times as needed to master the British curriculum.

Is the content the same as Interactive live classes?

Yes. The core academic content, learning objectives, and exam preparation materials are identical. The only difference is the delivery method, one is a live social experience, while the other is a streamlined, solo study experience designed for maximum efficiency.

Can I follow the UK National Curriculum from any time zone?

Absolutely. This is the primary benefit of "One-way" lessons. Whether you are in Dubai, Hong Kong, or London, you can access UK Virtual School Lessons during your peak focus hours without worrying about time differences.

How do I ask questions if the teacher isn't live?

While the lessons are recorded, your support is not. Students can submit questions via our Messaging Portal or student portal. Our academic team provides detailed feedback within 24 hours, ensuring you are never stuck on a difficult concept for long.

Are there deadlines, or can I learn at any speed?

While you have the freedom to watch the lessons or slow down, we provide a Recommended Pacing Guide. This ensures you complete all modules in time for UK examination windows (such as GCSE or A-Level sittings) while still enjoying day-to-day flexibility.

Do I still get to interact with other students?

Yes! One-way students are not isolated. You will have access to our KUMOSPACE a moderated community place where you can discuss subjects, share notes, and socialize with peers from around the world who are studying the same path.

How is my progress tracked?

Since this model is built for independent learners, our platform puts the data in your hands. You’ll have access to the Portal that automatically ticks off completed topics and lessons once you watched the video.

Is this model suitable for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Often, yes. Many students with ADHD or Dyslexia find live classrooms overstimulating. The One-way model offers a low-anxiety environment where you can take frequent breaks and learn without the pressure of performing in front of peers.

What equipment do I need to start?

All you need is a stable internet connection and a device (Laptop or PC). Our video player is optimized for low-bandwidth areas.

Can I switch from One-way to Interactive classes later?

We offer Flexible Enrollment. If you find that you miss the live atmosphere, you can contact our admissions team to upgrade to the Interactive classes at the start of the month, provided there is seat availability.
